Patrick Henry in 1775, said, "Give me Liberty or give me death." Today we say we will no longer accept death as your resolution. We will fight in the courts, at the ballot boxes, and in the legislatures.

Gun Rights Survey
"Here's my credo. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. A gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a good man is no threat to anyone, except bad people." -- Charlton Heston
"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms."  James Madison

The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

On June 26, 2008, the United States Supreme Court upheld US citizens' right to bear arms.
It has now been confirmed that we may use a gun to protect and defend ourselves using lawful means in last-resort situations.
The ruling was a 5-4 decision. Beware. We may need to defend ourselves against more than we could ever have imagined as having been raised in the Grandest Experiment in mankind's history, The United States of America. Pathetically, too many Americans fail to comprehend the need and value, & why their rights must be treasured. Too many Americans take too much for granted. Too many Americans fail to have been educated adequately in history or philosophy to comprehend the dangers pursuant to losing their rights, even simply one right at a time over time.
The Grand US Experiment that was envisioned, developed, fought for, won, and has been maintained for over 200 years is now under assault. It was and is a Grand Experiment because it provides freedom to all... including its enemies -- those who would dismantle it.
The United States of America is frail. She has never before been under assault from so many internal sinister, malevolent foes working concertedly and so feverishly to undermine and dismantle her.
All Americans should be aware of their slow undermining and elimination of their right to free speech and expression... & more.

"Guns have been legal in the U. S. for over 200 years. We haven't had today's big gun violence problems until now. That tells me that the people and society are the problem, not the guns."

Too many of today's politicians are politicians because they suffer a desperate need to control people.
We allow these malevolent weaklings to float into political power -- we abdicate our power to them -- because we choose genuine and productive lives. We choose to live productively, not administratively. We do not have need to control others. We control ourselves, thereby earning satisfaction and contentment while being productive in our professions.
Too many of today's politicians realize, in the conceptual sense, that when citizens have the ability to protect themselves from criminals they live in a high level of freedom. Our protection comes in several forms, including the US Constitution and the right to bear arms.
We are living in an era of diminishing Constitutional rights. We have allowed this to happen over several decades.
Americans' right to bear arms is one of the last tangible protections we have. Politicians understand that when they diminish our right to bear arms they may more effectively draw us into the next level of reduced freedom under their increasing control.
Very few Americans want to or will actually carry a firearm. Those that choose to must have that right. Most Americans see that living in a free society greatly reduces the need to bear arms. As long as we are free to bear arms, we will remain free first and foremost in the psychological sense.
Politicians who would remove our right to bear arms are herding us down their pathway to detention and subservience.
This struggle to bear arms is all about them controlling us. We are free. We must remain free.
